Nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe, the Sacred Forest Wellness Center welcomes you to a tranquil retreat. Our 240-acre ranch, which has remained untouched by the outside world for more than 125 years, is located on ancestral land considered sacred by the Miwok Indians. Evidence of their presence can be seen in Indian grinding rocks near the river at the base of the property.

Rick and Denise, the land owners of Schaad Ranch, have lived off-grid on the property for the last two decades and have undergone their own transformative Vision Quests to heal and elevate their frequency.
